Minister for Primary Industries, Katrina Hodgkinson and Member for Lismore Thomas George are proud to announce that $4,680 is being made available for upgrading and maintenance of Bonalbo showground.

"The funds are being made available in a combination of a grants and a loan to the showground to secure their ongoing development and maintenance," Ms Hodgkinson said.

"Bonalbo showground will be offered the funds for the replacement of a boundary fence.

"These funds will be offered to the showground trust that manages the showgrounds." Ms Hodgkinson said.

"Bonalbo showground is home to the local agricultural show as well as many other events.

"The showground is a wonderful asset which is an integral part of community life.

"The NSW Government has made this commitment to enhancing our local showground and the funding will ensure that our community can continue to enjoy local events for years to come." Mr George said.

"I am pleased to make this funding available through the Public Reserves Management Fund managed by the Crown Lands division of the Department of Primary Industries.

"The fund provides for improvements and new works at Crown land reserves, parks, showgrounds, caravan parks and walking tracks." Ms Hodgkinson said.
